This is taken in 2015, when I used to walk through Ruskin Park to visit my father in Kings. I saw the amazing helipad being constructed, which cheered me up, thinking about how good this would be for people using Kings in the future.

I moved to Camberwell in 2001, living in one of the flats the opposite the hospital. They were built to house its staff back when it was originally constructed. The Queen Elizabeth extension wing is one of the nicer architectural features of the sprawling complex. You get some lovely sky / sunset reflections in the curved glass facade.
