B is for Burgess Park
The A-Z of Camberwell Online Exhibition

Burgess Park has become a haven for wildlife in the middle of the city. You can now see lots of butterflies through the summer - you just need to look. I wanted to offer a tribute to the Park and say a big "thank you" to those who look after it.

I took these pictures in Burgess Park following a conversation with my Keyworker at the Southwark Resource Centre, Andre Harding, about the CAF. As I have lived with MS for several years, I liked the idea of participating in the project, it's given me a focus during lockdown and my assistance dog plenty of exercise!

These are paintings of leaves collected from Burgess Park as part of a project undertaken by the art class at the Southwark Resource Centre for people with physical disabilities. The mobile was made by the pottery class as part of a whole group project under the same theme.

Paintings of foliage from Burgess Park, I run an art class at the Southwark Resource Centre for people with physical disabilities and we did a project over a number of weeks, collecting and painting leaves from Burgess Park. I then decided to have a go myself.
