"The Angel of Peckham/Camberwell Borders" is my tribute to the resilience of young people in Camberwell and Peckham who are joyful despite being stripped of dignity. This mixed media sculpture (painted wax and wire applied to carved limewood) is on show at my flat opposite the Art School.

I've chosen mixed media to depict the Art School to explore the angles and dominant shapes of the building. I chose to create a collage as this is such an engaging and tactile process, perfect for isolation as the materials I used were just supplies found around the house.
The Soft City
A is for Art School. My old art school! Where i studied my graphic art and named myself The Soft City after a book I read.
