This is the Institute I knew, in the early days, when my Mother worked there, and I often gave her a lift to and from work. I attended lectures here and sometimes the social events my Mother went to. Some of the Monty Python team gave one of the lectures. I also took part in research experiments! They had a great fete every year with The Maudsley Garden, all built on now.

Tell us a little about the piece you made and why 'Behold the Night That Awaits Us' is one of the paintings from the series 'Elixir'. The painting is inspired by the Greek mythology, particularly by the myth of Oedipus.
