Artist Bio

Gill Rocca is a contemporary landscape painter working in oil on canvas, wood and cast resin. Her fictional landscapes suggest a dreamlike tension between reality, memory and the imagination.

Artist’s Statement

Gill Rocca grew up in Blackburn, Lancashire before studying BA Fine Art at Leeds University and MA Fine Art in Barcelona through Winchester School of Art, graduating with Distinction in 1996. She has lived and worked in London since 1998.

Since then she has been exhibited widely in the UK and overseas, with a number of international shows and representation in Hong Kong, Canada and Australia. Her work is held in public and private collections worldwide.
