Children’s Workshop - Persephone: the Story of Spring

Children’s Workshop - Persephone: the Story of Spring

This workshop explores the well-known Greek myth of Persephone and how the seasons were created in a unique way. It uses a combination of storytelling, drawing, collaboration and prop making. In this fun workshop, you will playfully explore one of the most captivating greek myths and one that encourages us to look for the signs of Spring. You’ll also have an opportunity to make this story your own with alternative endings!

Materials required: Lots of paper - can be any you have around the house - scrap paper, news paper, card, whatever you have will work. Any drawing materials you have: pencils, coloured pencils, felt tips, charcoal, paints etc. A pair of scissors too. Plasticine or play-dough if you have it.
