Two Minds – Henry Welch

  • 54 Camberwell Green London, England, SE5 7AS United Kingdom (map)

We spend most of our time indoors and our experience of light plays a fundamental role in managing stress and anxiety.

Exploring this, Henry Welch exhibits two of his lampshade designs through the window of 54 Camberwell Green.  Each design is impeccably finished and handmade with a high level of craftsmanship and respect for the material.

Beryllium

Beryllium pushes the boundaries of what is possible with contemporary methods of handcrafted fabrication.

A three-dimensional multi-layered pattern is projected onto the walls, weaving in and out from one another, creating a fascinating game of shadows.

CarbonOur mind finds meanings through patterns and symbols. The design of Carbon wishes to become a celebration of the timelessness of the flower of life pattern, studied by Leonardo Da Vinci and found in ancient civilisations all over the world.
