Babirye Bukilwa’s second play …cake is the second in their psychological thriller trilogy. Delving unapologetically into the heart of Eshe’s childhood, it lays the foundations of a young, gay Black woman’s earliest memories.  Directed by Associate Director malakaï sargeant, it is developed as part of Theatre Peckham’s Artist-in-Residence programme.  Friday’s performance will be followed by a post-show discussion.
