Angelitos Negros

  • CHURCH OF ST MICHAEL & ALL ANGELS Wyndham Road London, England United Kingdom (map)

Angelitos Negros is a Roberta Flack song asking why there aren’t more black angels decorating our churches?  St Michael and All Angels Church – which itself features only white (male) angels, despite a predominantly black congregation – explores this fascinating question during Black History Month.

Join them to explore Black lives, bible history and make ikons of Black messengers of God to create a permanent new artwork for the church.
