2015 Summer - Feast Commissions
Camberwell Family Gin Palace
by Frog Morris
The Tiger, Camberwell Green, SE5 7AA
20th-28th June
Workshop: 20th June, 1-5pm
Inspired by the elaborately decorated gin palaces and shopping parades of Victorian London, Frog Morris invites local people to create a colourful stained glass window for Camberwell.
Stained glass was not just used by churches; it was once a colourful way to advertise businesses as well. Join us on Saturday 20th June to feast on sweets, make art from your discarded wrappers and create a communal artwork to promote this year’s Festival.
Frog Morris is an artist, performer, poet, curator and designer. He has created live art for the Barbican, Whitstable Biennale, Whitechapel Gallery, South London Gallery, Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Royal Academy of Arts and many others.

Din Din by Amanda Holiday
The Sun, Coldharbour Lane, SE5 9NS
20th-28th June
Presented in the Parlour of the Sun, Din Din is a compelling collage across 50 wall-mounted dinner plates. Exploring taste, hunger, greed, desire and need, it tells a fiction of modern eating played out in an age of austerity and food-banks.
An artist / filmmaker who works mainly with pastel, chalk, charcoal and pencil, Amanda Holiday has a keen interest in the collision of narrative and line – of drawing and story. She studied at Wimbledon School of Art and has exhibited at INIVA, ArtLounge, Bargehouse, Lewisham Library and the Southbank.

Her sculptures have been exhibited at many events and exhibitions around London, including Selfridges and Harrods window displays. She is the curator for the Old Baths, Hackney Wick.
