The Story of Claudia Jones
A short play telling the story of Claudia Jones, fondly known as the mother of the world-famous Notting Hill Carnival by some, although the event that she held was at St Pancras Town Hall. She died young. The significance of her work is indicated by the location of her grave, next to, besides, to the left of Karl Marx.
Introducing a debut play written by Joyce, staring debut actor Danae. The first act of a play originally written for the stage, then adapted for digital production and delivery during the COVID-19 Lockdown period.
