#ADRealnes ft. Theatre Peckham

On 29 May Artistic Directors from Kiln Theatre (Indhu Rubasingham), Hackney Empire (Yamin Choudury), Brixton House (Gbolahan Obisesan) and Theatre Peckham (Suzann McLean) come together via a zoom panel discussion.

#ADRealness was a panel discussion designed to expose what the role of Artistic Director entails and give you the opportunity to ask those burning questions.

“Being an AD is about management, administration, logistics, people and funding. You could possibly feel further away from the art then ever before when you become an AD”

Our Panellists were interviewed by Thalia Gambe and Tyrell Weekes-Harper. Thalia is an actor and singer and has been a member of Theatre Peckham for 11 years taking part in a variety of shows as well as being a part of TP’s Rep company. Tyrell is an actor and recent graduate from The Brit School and performed in Theatre Peckham’s Extremism, directed by Suzann McLean.

“Don’t look up at us, look sideways. It takes a whole community to create”
