More About the Artist
Marc's combined background in fine art and design come together through lateral thinking, to communicate and craft visual ideas, often through experimentation with processes and materials. His fascination for making often results in a more tactile aesthetic, but the medium for each project is almost always determined by the concept. Projects that encourage an interaction with space in unexpected places have become increasingly important to his work, because he feels that they can offer a more engaging experience allowing the work to exist in a broader context and connect with a wider audience. Honesty, value and the questioning of conventions are common threads that run through his work. Occasionally his ideas evolve into objects and prints that might be nice for other people to own and that's what you'll find in my shop.
