Artist Statement
Camilla Webb Carter is a ceramic artist who takes her inspiration from geometry and optical illusion. A graduate from Camberwell College of Art in 2009, Camilla started designing and producing wall installations in 2011. Her practice continues to develop and grow.
Her unique installations produce a tactile environment with a sense of movement and illusion. It is the overall composition of the ceramic pieces that produce bold and distinctive final artworks. As the pieces are modular they can be installed as smaller artworks or large-scale installations.
Most recently Camilla has been turning her designs into vessels for the wall as well as freestanding pieces. These products are available at our shop and Camilla is often at craft markets and fairs. Check our news section to find out where she will be next.
CWC Ceramics wall installations are available for private and commercial commissions also offering a bespoke service. We will work specifically to our clients needs to create unique works of art.
