More about the artist

Anna-Maria graduated in fine art from Loughborough University. She has explored many avenues of art including socially engaged practise through her curatorial work, where she has designed and delivered projects such as the 'Inspiration Library' and 'The Artists Ecosystem'. She has undertaken artists residencies at Guest Projects and Celdenord. Her solo practise includes primarily painting, but also, drawing and different crafts including paper embossing. She enjoys creating atmospheres which resound with people and connect them to a narrative. She writes stories through her work, leaving the audience open to let their imagination be captured by the bright colours and soft forms.
